Our Top 5 Picks from Iron Fork Were Top Notch

Despite the bizarre early-morning hail and the nip in the air, the Dallas Observer’s Iron Fork competition still had a solid showing of folks eager to sample signature dishes and drinks from establishments all over the Metroplex. This is a well-organized and worthwhile event, for anyone looking to tantalize their tastebuds without trampling their wallet.  With over 40 restaurants bringing their A-game and many “adult” beverages thrown into the mix, it was hard to choose a favorite dish. BrewFest 2015 Recap

What happens when you bring great beer, karaoke, games and extra hype music together? Likely an all-around buzzed up drunken good time and plenty of smiling faces. This year was all about the taco, as several eateries whipped up their versions of the shelled delights. Vickery Park served up a juicy filling chicken taco that left me plate picking. Luna’s also went the way of the taco with fresh cilantro, onions…
