The cold weather finally feels like it’s here to stay, but even if it isn’t the need for comfort food is. Abacus has answered that need with a mouthwatering fall/winter menu. Once again, I’ve decided that moving a mattress into the bar wouldn’t be such a bad idea. Take a look, but please do not drool on your droid. TXmb

Fell-fork-first for the Garham Masala Dusted Maple Leaf Farms Duck Breast Grilled Leg Confit and Saffron Rice
For something indulgent yet not too sweet I recommend the Apricot Gyoza served with Apricot Compote, Toffe Lace Tulle, Cinnamon Icing, Black Seasame Granola and Lemon Ginger Sorbet.
For those of us who worship the marriage of textures and sweet and savory this oatmeal cream pie is a must. Seared Hudson Valley Foie Gras includes a pomegranate reduction and orange fennel marmalade.
Gorgeous Wood Roasted Bone Marrow , Notorious O.A.T. Mustard, Honey Roasted Figs and Shaved Bourbon Smoked Cheddar.
Delicious Pan Seared Mediterranean Bronzini, Baby Bok Choy, Snow Peas, Scallions, Purple Sweet Potato, Blood Orange Ama-Zu  Ponzu.
Chocolate lovers can relish in this Sacher Torte, Pistachio Crumble and Cherry-Vanilla Ice Cream.
