Monkey King Noodle Company- 4.5 stars

No doubt everything at Monkey King Noodle Co. is wonderful. They have amazing and richly flavored, hand pulled noodle soup, and wontons with chili sauce that make your belly feel like happy, happy, joy, joy. And that’s just a tad of the delectable doosies. But even in all of that delicious glory, nothing compares to the SOUP DUMPLINGS. Shall we begin:

  1. They are literal envelopes of heaven- Dough is remarkable in any form. But this dough, is soft beyond belief and just downright pleasant. Inside this dough is a magnificent feast waiting to enrapture your tongue and tummy.

  2. They are technically a full course meal-Soup, meat, and dough. That’s the actual meaning of a three course meal. With 8 for 8 bucks you’ve won 8 times. Go for another 8, that equals 16. Boom.
    Devour time is upon me.
    Chomp time is upon me.

  3. You’ll become a better listener-Chatterbox Charlie you will not be during lunch for the rest of your days. With the dumplings being substantial in size, plus filled with wonderful, wonderful soup, there is no biting. You gotta take the whole thing. Your new lunch time name; Silent Soup Dumpling Devouring Daria.

  4. You will learn the art of patience- Unlike everything else on the tasty tiny menu at Monkey King Noodle Co. the soup dumplings sometimes take longer to prepare than everything else. In the meantime, sit yourself down and ponder on all the goodness momentarily entering your realm.
    And then there were noodles.
    And then there were noodles.

  5. You will understand the definition of insane-After partaking of the souplisciousness, there’s a chancethat without the dumplings you will feel a sense of emptiness. If you don’t want to miss out, get there early. The good folks at Monkey King Noodle Co. are only there from 11-2, Monday-Saturday and Friday and Saturday 6pm-9pm.  TXMB
