Held at Addison’s Circle Park, the first annual “celebration of taste” took the place of Taste of Addison. Different, you betcha. Fork and Cork kept it kiddo free with the 21 and up crowd, catering to the luxury of food and spirits. Upon entry gourmet goers were given a fancy pamphlet of activities, a ticket to the Grand Tasting Area, and a redeemable $50 coupon that turned out to be two $25 gift certificates to Chamberlains. Iron Fork 2014 Last night’s Iron Fork event could be summed up in a few words; foodtastic boozelosity epicness. This year’s Iron Fork was held in Fair Park inside the Centennial Hall. The fourth annual event did not disappoint, giving folks a few good tastes of Texas, rather fine elixirs to wash it down with and a showdown of chefs hosted by the famous Kent Rathbun. Bolsa-4.5 Stars txMB Two chilly chickadees chasing warmth on a particularly brisk December day in Dallas decided to try their luck in the Bishop Arts District. Sick of seeking a fireplace for heat, they chose booze for the bones at Bolsa. Inside, it was inviting and endearing. They picked up their chatter about life, and all that it entails and ordered a few cozy cocktails. To their wonderful delight, they came out just right.
